Gesta skin for Resco Keyboard Pro - color adjustments
Posted by spmwinkel on April 24, 2008
Good news - Resco started the skinning contest, which means that the Gesta skin can now be downloaded from their competition website here!
Something cool I just found out is that it is really simple to adjust the colors of the skin, using GIMP (free image editing software).
When I installed it, I chose for the Dutch version, so that’s why the menu items in the image below are not in English, but it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out how to do it.
Just go to the screen where you can change the color balance, and use the sliders for the three colors to change the appearance of the skin. So if you change your Today screen to something orange, purple or green, that shouldn’t have any influence on the skin you use. You can just adjust the colors, save the new files, and add the new skin on your device! (Just remember to give the skin folder a different name).
